CAN GHOSTWRITING BE YOUR PASSION OR CHANCE?

CAN GHOSTWRITING BE YOUR PASSION OR CHANCE?

If you want to become a writer and have a great idea for a book but too busy or don't have literary skills, you could try the way they called 'ghostwriting'. It is hiring someone or a group to turn your ideas into a book. You listen to them and take notes and develop that into content. They may also give you a rough draft for you to clean up that into the final draft. Sometimes, you do all the research and make changes to your final draft. There are also clients that the only involvement is to approve your final draft.

Some non-fiction books that were ghostwritten became bestseller books. If you are in trouble of not finishing your book, will you try to hire a ghostwriter? The copyright will be yours or you can even share it with the ghostwriter
However, the side of the ghostwriter’s career is not easy. Most of them should remain anonymous and anonymity can’t help their career shine. Their clients may be too demanding, they'll give deadlines you're not sure of. It's hard to reach their desires and expectations on how the book should be written. And worse, you will only be the co-author, or they'll just give you a dedication or none at all except the payment as what happening mostly.
On the side of the client, if the book was already published, to mind the truth that they did not really wrote the whole book and just gave instructions to the ghostwriter is inevitable.
To be fair for the both sides, the ghostwriter should still be included as a co-author. It would be a peace of the client's mind and a virtue for the ghostwriter. However, a contract's independence is not something to be prevented. Therefore, most of the time, ghostwriters gain money and the clients gain money and fame and anything involved thereof.
How far are you on your writing career? Ghostwriting, either to be a client or hired, may be a passion or opportunity for you.

How much will you pay or get paid?
